June 24, 2026 – The Meter Maids
The Meter Maids are a high-energy live band known for delivering a vibrant mix of New Orleans–inspired funk, soul, and groove-driven music that keeps audiences moving from the first note to the last. Blending tight rhythm section work with expressive horns and a deep-pocket feel, the group channels the spirit of classic Crescent City sounds while bringing a fresh, contemporary edge to their performances. Whether on a dance floor or in a concert setting, The Meter Maids create an infectious, feel-good atmosphere built on rhythm, spontaneity, and a genuine love of live music.
July 1, 2026 – Celebrating 250 Years of American Music
Join us for a vibrant evening of music and history as the Clinton Street Summer Concert Series presents 250 Years of American Music. This special program traces the rich and evolving soundscape of the United States—from the earliest songs of 1776 through today’s beloved standards and contemporary favorites.
Vocalist Mary Fagan, known for her expressive artistry and dynamic stage presence, leads the State Street Combo in a compelling musical journey across centuries. This versatile ensemble of seasoned jazz and popular musicians brings fresh energy and thoughtful interpretation to each era, seamlessly blending styles from early American folk traditions to jazz, swing, and modern popular music.
This concert is made possible through a generous grant from the Music Performance Trust Fund. The MPTF is a vital organization that brings music to the public and supplements the income of musicians, all at no cost to those receiving this precious gift of music. Funded via a royalty stream from the signatory record labels, led by the three major labels, Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, and the Warner Music Group, the MPTF today presents thousands of live, admission-free musical programs annually in the United States and Canada.

Enjoy an evening of exceptional live music with Glenn Palladino and Joey Placenti as part of the Clinton Street Summer Concert Series, hosted by First Congregational Church and Wesley United Methodist Church. With more than 80 years of combined professional experience, these two veteran musicians bring artistry, warmth, and unmistakable chemistry to the stage. From Glenn’s smooth piano playing and expressive vocals to Joey’s soulful saxophone and rich singing voice, this dynamic duo delivers an engaging blend of jazz and pop favorites sure to entertain audiences of all ages.
July 22, 2026 – Blues Brothers the Next Generation
Get ready to shake a tail feather and dance the night away with Blues Brothers the Next Generation as part of the Clinton Street Summer Concert Series, hosted by First Congregational Church and Wesley United Methodist Church. Formed in 1996, this high-energy show-band tribute delivers the classic soul, blues, and rhythm & blues sound made famous by the legendary Blues Brothers. With a full horn section, powerhouse vocals, and plenty of personality, this crowd-pleasing performance promises an evening of nonstop fun for all ages.
August 5, 2026 – Electric Praise
Don’t miss Electric Praise in a special summer concert appearance as part of the Clinton Street Summer Concert Series, hosted by First Congregational Church and Wesley United Methodist Church. Known as the dynamic worship band of Wesley United Methodist Church, these accomplished and versatile musicians will be stepping outside their usual Sunday-morning setting to perform a lively mix of popular hits and classic favorites for this community concert. Expect high-quality musicianship, engaging vocals, and an evening of familiar songs spanning pop and timeless crowd-pleasers.
August 19, 2026 – The Scott Spradling Band
The Scott Spradling Band is a dynamic 12-piece ensemble known for delivering high-energy performances that blend the excitement of a classic big band with the spirit of contemporary popular music. Featuring a powerhouse rhythm section and vibrant horn arrangements, the band performs crowd favorites spanning multiple decades, from the golden age of swing to the unforgettable hits of the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and beyond. Their repertoire includes music made famous by artists such as Chicago, Billy Joel, Michael Bublé, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
Led by vocalist and bandleader Scott Spradling, the group has built a reputation throughout New England for its polished musicianship, engaging stage presence, and ability to get audiences tapping their toes and dancing in the aisles. Combining nostalgic favorites with fresh arrangements and a lively concert atmosphere, the Scott Spradling Band appeals to audiences of all ages.
