Clinton Street Summer Concert Series: 250 Years of American Music

July 1 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm

Join us on July 1 at 6:00 PM for a vibrant evening of music and history as the Clinton Street Summer Concert Series presents 250 Years of American Music. This special program traces the rich and evolving soundscape of the United States—from the earliest songs of 1776 through today’s beloved standards and contemporary favorites.

Vocalist Mary Fagan, known for her expressive artistry and dynamic stage presence, leads the State Street Combo in a compelling musical journey across centuries. Backed by a versatile ensemble of seasoned jazz and popular musicians, the group brings fresh energy and thoughtful interpretation to each era, seamlessly blending styles from early American folk traditions to jazz, swing, and modern popular music.

This concert is made possible through a generous grant from the Music Performance Trust Fund, supported by contributions from over-the-counter and online music sales. Their support helps sustain live music in communities across the country.

This is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors.

Bring a chair, bring a friend, and experience the story of America through its music.
