Jazz Sanctuary at Havenwood

August 16 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Jazz Sanctuary is a monthly jazz worship experience on the third Sunday of every month that combines live music with prayers, readings and conversation. No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here! The Jazz Sanctuary House Band, with stalwarts Joey Placenti, Eddie Raczka, Jock Irvine, and Tim Wildman, provides the music with vocals by Rev. Emilia Halstead and Rev. Reneé Rouse.

As a reminder, this month’s service will be at a different location and at a different time:

📍 Havenwood Auditorium

33 Christian Avenue, Concord, NH

🕒 3:00 PM

(Please note the later start time — our usual Jazz Sanctuary service begins at 2:30 PM.)

What to Expect

This month’s vignette from John O’Donohue is “To the House of Beauty to Bless the Journey.” The Jazz Sanctuary House Band will perform eight songs, along with the reflection and other elements that make Jazz Sanctuary special. The service will be about an hour long, slightly shorter than usual to accommodate Havenwood’s scheduling.

We’re excited to bring Jazz Sanctuary to a new audience at Havenwood, and we especially hope our Jazz Sanctuary regulars will come out and be part of this special afternoon!

A Note About Parking & Arrival

Parking at Havenwood is limited. The parking lot is quite small, so you may need to park on the street and walk a little farther than you’re accustomed to. Please allow some extra time to find a parking spot and make your way to the auditorium.

The entrance door at Havenwood will be locked. When you arrive, simply ring the doorbell and someone will let you in.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
